Oakland A's HomeRun Readers! Congratulations, students have read at home all school year and have each earned 2 free tickets to an Oakland A's baseball game. We will celebrate our HomeRun Readers with a baseball day here at Dougherty scheduled for Friday, May 31st from 12:30-2:30pm. We will set up baseball stations for hitting, throwing, running, catching, and stretching! WE NEED VOLUNTEERS! I have a sign up sheet on our classroom window. Please let me know if you can help our class!!
Monday, May 27th - Memorial Day, No School
May Homework is now posted. The optional Math pages are a preview of 2nd grade math! We will be discussing adding and subtracting with regrouping, but since it is not a 1st grade standard, the students will not be required to do Homework or be tested on it. They have a lot of fun learning what is coming in 2nd grade!
