Dublin High School is a four-time California Distinguished School.  It is the only comprehensive 9-12 public

high school in the Dublin Unified School District.

Community

Dublin is a growing suburban community of approximately 48,000 located 40 miles east of San Francisco.

 

Faculty

The certificated faculty includes four administrators, four full-time counselors and ninety teachers.

 

Graduation Requirements

Students must earn 230 credits to graduate (five credits per semester for courses completed with a grade of "D" or better).  Credits must include: four years of English, three years of social studies, three years of mathematics, three years of science (one biological, one physical), two years of physical education, one year in two of the three following areas: world language, applied arts, and fine arts, one semester of health. Beginning with the Class of 2016, two years of world language will be required for graduation as well.

Rank is determined by a weighted average and includes all courses taken in grades 9-12. All HP and AP classes are weighted on a 5.0 scale.  The overall grade point average is weighted and includes all courses beginning in the ninth grade.    All U. C. college-prep “a-g” courses are designated on the transcript with a (P) behind the course title, and U. C. approved “a-g” honors courses are designated with an (HP) next to the course title.
